The
best way for Matt to transfer his ideas and imagination onto canvas is in a
narrative manner. The narrative has been evident in Matt’s last four solo
exhibitions. The work has told a story about his life, surroundings and sometimes
struggles. He says the struggles are just part and parcel of being an artist.
