Matt’s
most recent exhibition is his most narrative to date and sees him being swept
over various parts of the city clinging onto a canvas in high winds. This exhibition
is full of mixed feelings and emotions, success, struggle, anxiety to name a
few. In the painting ‘back down to earth’ Matt has finally landed
in the park with the children that had earlier been in pursuit, gathered around
to see if Matt is okay. It represented the lows of being an artist, you take
off, make some ground, but often reality smacks you in the face soon after.
